Ronstock08
Bruce Palm drove from Washington state to attend Ronstock08 because he believes "cooperation is one of the best ways to get people to act." He supported Ron Paul's economic policies, explaining that "people tend to do what is in their economic best interests, what is in their back yard makes most people act."
Roughly 50 Ron Paul supporters gathered at a makeshift campground at the Honeymoon Creamery dairy farm in Goodhue, Minn. for several days in early September 2008, calling the gathering “Ronstock08,” to coincide with the Republican National Convention an hour's drive away in St. Paul.
The ‘Paulites’ had come to champion their favorite politician, now out of the running and shunned by the Republican National Committee that had decided not to invite Paul to speak at the convention.
