"I'm not a normal person, I'm a realist," said Dean Hutchins, 66, from Illinois. "I'm the only one like me on the face of the earth, but there's a whole lot thinking like me," he said about his support of Ron Paul.
Roughly 50 Ron Paul supporters gathered at a makeshift campground at the Honeymoon Creamery dairy farm in Goodhue, Minn. for several days in early September 2008, calling the gathering “Ronstock08,” to coincide with the Republican National Convention an hour's drive away in St. Paul.
The ‘Paulites’ had come to champion their favorite politician, at that point out of the running and shunned by the Republican National Committee that had decided not to invite Paul to speak at the convention.
